What’s the next greatest innovation in customer service?
One of the opportunities for customer experience and customer service is what I would call the scalable personalization.
So, in the past we could have very personal service, but it was very people intensive right?
It took a big staff to be able to support.
Now with chatbots, with AI, and with new technology around machine learning, we can understand and anticipate what some of your needs are and respond to it, without having legions of people to be able to do that.
Now, if I think that people are still there to offer an emotional connection and a human connection, I think that never really goes away, but the ability to scale-ably support potentially millions of customers with new technology is some of the promise for customer experience.
