Video: Why use machine learning to solve business problems?

Starting from zero, build machine learning models and drive outcomes with those models. So it was, it was as much a business problem to solve as it was a technical machine learning application. The biggest challenge was the data without question. We have, as a company, we have over 200 different data stores, 50 something different ERP systems. You know, it’s a company like most industrial companies that’s grown a lot and Johnson Controls is no different. This is probably every industrial company that you would walk into today day and having prototype models in 90 days, it feels like a herculean feat.
